AT THE FESTIVAL

What time are the acts playing?
Check out the 2016 set times over here – keep an eye on our socials for any changes during the festival.

What time does the event start / end?
Gates open at 12pm each day. The event will end by 11pm on Saturday night and 10pm on Sunday night.

Is there camping at Bestival?
No, camping is not permitted in the park. Out of town guests will need to find accommodations in the city.

Can I bring any food or drinks to the festival?
Outside food and drink are not permitted, but there will be a wide range of food vendors at Bestival.

Will you be selling alcohol?
Yes, alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase inside Bestival. Valid government-issued ID is required to purchase alcoholic beverages.

Do you bars accept credit cards?
No, all bars are cash only so please do bring enough cash with you to the festival. There are also ATM’s located in the festival.

Are lockers available on site?
There are no lockers at the festival so please only bring with you what you are happy to carry around.

Can I wear a costume?
Yes, fancy dress is encouraged!

TICKETS + VIP

I can’t seem to find my tickets / I put in the wrong email address on my order / I still haven’t received my tickets / etc.

Can I bring my kids to Bestival?
Bestival is all ages. Anyone under 16 is required to attend with a legal guardian. Children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult. Please note there is no re-admission so please plan accordingly.

I bought tickets and can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately there are no refunds.

I accidentally bought a ticket for the Saturday but would rather attend on the Sunday. Can I exchange my ticket?
Please contact the Front Gate Tickets team at: support.frontgatetickets.com or 888-512-SHOW (7469) and they can help you upgrade your tickets.

How can I upgrade my tickets to VIP?
Please call in to the Front Gate Tickets team on 888-512-SHOW (7469) and they can help you upgrade your tickets.

What does a VIP ticket get me?
VIP includes a dedicated VIP entrance, access to the Lucky Lounge VIP area, premium Main Stage viewing area and much more! Full info over here.

What is the difference between the ticket tiers?
There is no difference between the tiers. The price will just increase as tiers sell out, so just select the cheapest available option when you’re buying tickets.

I bought a weekend pass and can no longer attend. Can I split it by day and sell it to 2 of my friends?
Unfortunately this is not an option, as your e-ticket will be exchanged for a single wristband that is non-transferable and will be void if cut or tampered with.

When will my tickets be delivered by?
Closer to the event you will receive a Digital Print Pass for every ticket you have purchased. These Digital Print Passes need to be printed out and brought with you to the festival. If you purchased a weekend pass your Digital Print Pass will be exchanged for a wristband.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

I am interested in being a vendor on site. Can I submit my business?
Please email info@bestival.ca with details of your business/weblinks/etc. Due to the large volume of emails we receive, only those in consideration will be contacted.

Can I submit my band to play Bestival?
Please email info@bestival.ca with biog, contact details, links to tracks/mixes and photos and we’ll take a listen.

Can I work/volunteer at Bestival?
You can submit your resume to info@bestival.ca, and we will be in touch with you if we need staff.
